JUICING- THE HEALING POWER OF FRESH JUICES

Posted on September 19, 2011 by admin | 1 Comment | Fibromyalgia, Nutrition, The M'is Company

An excerpt from Living Symptom Free- Fibromyalgia and Candida, by Dr. Linda T. Nelson, R.N.D., Phd

In the M’lis fibromyalgia program, we have found that juicing exclusively for several days following the detoxification program, and then making juicing a part of your every-day regimen for your lifestyle program, helps your body to cleanse and heal faster. The more juice you drink, the faster the results.

The juice extracted from fresh, raw fruit and vegetables furnish the cells with the nutrients they need in the most natural and assimilatable form. By separating nutrients and water from the fiber, the liquid food is digested in minutes. If food is not in a liquid form, digestion time ranges from several hours to days.

Fruit furnishes the body with carbohydrates, natural sugars and vitamins. Vegetables have amino acids, minerals, salts, enzymes, co-enzymes and vitamins. Juicing separates out the nutrient-bearing juice. All vitamins, minerals, enzymes, co-enzymes and trace minerals are what are left for you to nourish the body. Fresh vegetable juices are the regenerators and builders.

Fresh, raw fruits and vegetables have live enzymes. Enzymes allow the body to be nourished and replenished new cell growth. Enzymes are involved with every atom, and every cell in the human body. Enzymes are extremely sensitive to heat, so if you eat a diet of mostly cooked, processed foods, all live enzymes have been destroyed.

I believe that juicing is essential in order for the body to have the ability to regenerate. To be symptom free, you need to have a juicer. There are very good juicing books available in every book store that provide juicing tips and recipes.
